Many seniors struggle with making it to their appointments and as a result, do not get the proper medical care or dental care they need and deserve. Home dental care can help. For elderly people who no longer drive or have transportation to and from their dental appointments, home dental care can come to them. This service is not yet offered everywhere, but is catching on with many dentists and doctors and is spreading across the United States.

Of course, not all dental procedures can be completed at a patients home. Still, cleanings and basic dental care can benefit the elderly tremendously and help the dentist and the patient determine if there is a more serious problem that requires an office visit. Check with your dentist to find out if home dental care is an option for you.
