Many people don’t consider dental insurance as important as health insurance and although they purchase dental insurance, they normally settle for plans that are less than what they might need or deserve. Humana is hoping to help more people get better dental care and long term care if needed. The new policies could offer better prices and better coverage.

“Dental health plays a key role in the health and well-being of both an individual and an employer’s workforce,” said Dean M. Fry, D.D.S., National Dental Director at Humana. “Now more than ever, it’s clear that dental care needs to be an integrated part of an employer’s larger wellness strategy for the health of its workforce.”
