The Grand Rapids area celebrated the Grand Valley American Indian Lodge Pow Wow this weekend. The festival was held on Saturday and Sunday and was a great way to showcase the  American Indian tradition. Dances, crafts, music and food were all featured at the festivals and visitors were invited to interact with the Native Americans and their culture.

Members from several tribes were present at the festival, including the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi.
