Drug addictions are serious problems in most areas and the have become so bad that many dentists have been forced to change their pain killer policies. Many addicts are coming to dentists for pain killers and expect to load up on drugs for simple dental procedures that may not require any at all. Although dentists work to make their patients as comfortable as possible, they can’t enable addicts.
