Michigan was once home to the continent’s largest ski jump at Copper Peak.  The jump was built in 1969 and was the site of many impressive high flying competitions until 1994.  Plans are currently in the works to restore the giant structure. At one point the jump brought thousands of people to the area. There is hope that the new jump will be just as popular and successful.
