A bald eagle found caught in a snare earlier this month has been treated and is now recovering. The bird’s leg was caught in the snare was found by a trapper, who rushed the bird home and called for help. Rebecca Lessard, executive director of Wings of Wonder, a non-profit raptor sanctuary based in Empire, ended up caring for the injured eagle and says it is recovering well.
