It is always important to remember the veterans who fought for our country, especially around the holidays. A group of volunteers in Grand Rapids did just that by decorating 2,000 graves at a Grand Rapids veterans cemetery with wreaths. The wreaths were donated or bought with donations and more than 150 veterans, cadets, Blue Star Mothers, Boy Scouts, and others turned out on Saturday, Dec. 12, for the eighth annual “Wreaths Across America” celebration at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. After the party they laid out the wreaths.
