Opening Set for 2016

The West Michigan Grand Rapids-based CWD Real Estate investment has a signed deal with Trader Joe’s East Inc. in Kentwood across from the Centerpointe Mall on 28th street. A 12,500 square foot space has been signed over to Trader Joe’s for the next 10 years who is a subsidiary of Monrovia, California based Trader Joe’s Company and operates a chain for grocery stores across the U.S., founded in 1958. It is scheduled to open in 2016 with a target date of June to open when the work should be completed for their 10,000 square foot store. Having Trader Joe’s should be a boost in the local economy and great news for the market. Some of the products they’ll carry are domestic and imported food and beverages including artisan breads, 100 percent juices, deli items, vitamins, Arabica bean coffees and more.
