When you go to the dentist to have a procedure that could hurt, your dentist will give you painkillers before and after your procedure. These medications are meant to keep you comfortable and help you manage pain. But are dentists too free with their painkillers? Many dentists in Ontario have been asked to reduce the amount of painkillers they use.
