The Indian Trails Golf Course has seen better times, but the city of Grand Rapids is willing to put $2.8 million dollars towards renovating and cleaning up the course in hopes that it will start to pay off. The golf course went two years without making a profit and only recently started bringing in money.
The city believes the golf course can bring in money and thinks the problems lies with the lack of care and maintenance. City officials hope that the renovation will attract more players and save the golf course.
