The new skate park at Westown Commons in Grand Rapids is drawing all kind of attention and a lot of positive reviews. Many of the parks in Grand Rapids are being or have already been updated this summer and the new skate park at Westown Commons is an example of the type of upgrades residents can expect.  While there are other skate parks in Grand Rapids, including one in  Clemente Park, the Westown Commons park seems to be a favorite for skaters.

“I would say it’s a big upgrade,” one skater  said. “It’s smaller, but more legitimate.”
