A First for Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids will enjoy their inaugural season of a men’s soccer team at Houseman Field with the season running from May 1 through August 1. They’re holding tryouts on April 4 and anyone can tryout at MVP Fieldhouse. Over 450 season tickets have been sold so far and GR Football Club player Jeremy Stacy is happy to see growth in the sport where children can watch and support the game to grow their interest in the sport. This is the first such team in the Grand Rapids area and interested people will be able to watch the new soccer team in action. Their opening game will be May 30 at Houseman Field.
