Many people have suggested that a subway system be constructed in Grand Rapids to help reduce traffic and make it easier for commuters to get to there jobs and run errands. There are no plans for a subway in the immediate future, but that hasn’t stopped many people was dreaming or imagining what it would be like.

Todd Fenton went as far as to design a subway system for the city. His map was inspired but the subway in London and although it is not an official map it seems to fit the city well. He created the map for his master’s degree thesis in Design for Communication and did not leave out any of the important details.
