Taking care of baby teeth is important, but many people don’t consider it as important as caring for adult teeth. Baby teeth do fall out, but a study recently revealed that baby teeth have a lasting effect on dental health.  Dentists recommend a check up within 6 months of a child getting his first tooth. This is usually before the age of one.

An early checkup can help the dentists see if their may be any problems that could affect adult teeth. Early checkups can also lead to early intervention and allow the dentist to take care of any problems before them become worse.
