How often do you floss your teeth? Flossing isn’t always easy, but it is important if you want to take good care of your teeth and gums. Flossing helps remove food and debris that can get stuck between your teeth and cannot be removed with a toothbrush. Some people argue that flossing is unnecessary, but Cambridge dentist Thomas O’Connor says flossing is not only important, but something people should spend more time doing.

For those who struggle to floss and still want to get their teeth as clean as possible, Dr. O’Connor recommends floss picks that can remove debris from between your teeth without requiring you to use actual floss.
