Nobody want to lost their teeth and some people are more at risk than other. While bad habits and poor oral hygiene can contribute to tooth loss, so can diabetes. In fact, a new study shows that people with diabetes are much more likely to loose teeth than those who do not suffer from the disease. “Diabetics have two to three times the incidence of gum disease,” said Dr. Gary Hack is a dentist, a diabetic and a professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
