Dental surgeons face a lot of challenges and one of them can be finding the time and location to continue training. Surgery methods and techniques are always changing and improving and surgeons need to stay on top of the technology to provide the best care for their patients. A recent team of researchers decide to attempt to train dental surgeons with virtual reality technology.

The technology allowed the surgeons to practice as if they were working on real patients and gave them an up close and personal view of how the surgery should go and what to expect. Virtual technology could be the future of dental training.
