In order for a child to perform well at school, he must be healthy. A new study shows that the best students are also the healthiest and have the best dental and medical care. Children who are healthier miss less school, meaning they are present to learn more information. Healthy students are also less likely to be distracted by pain, or feelings of illness, meaning they can concentrate on their school work and absorb more of what they are being taught.
More schools are pushing parents to ensure that their children have the proper medical and dental care and that they are receiving regular checkups to ensure that they are healthy.
